Why should I register?

We've been working hard to create a one-stop, user-friendly experience for Rancher families and community members to stay connected!

 

Signing up with Membership Toolkit is not the same as joining the PTA. It is also independent of LISD registration and campus registration.

 

This registration is ONLY for Rutledge Elementary and links you to the PTA information. You can register for Membership Toolkit and NOT become a PTA member, but why would you do that?! Joining Membership Toolkit will keep you connected to everything going on at Rutledge that is sponsored by the PTA, and joining the PTA will give you a say in just how and what the PTA does for our campus. Volunteering is optional with our PTA, but if you can help, we'd love to have you. If not, we still want you to join!

 

Follow these steps below to ensure you are well-informed during the 2020-2021 school year! Also, spread the word about the new website and app! All PTA communication will come from this system, so it is imperative that you and your family create your account(s)!

  1. Click here to register
  2. Select “Create Account” and fill in the name, email and password information
  3. Click “verify my email” and then check your email for a link to complete the process. The link expires in 2 hours.  If you do not receive the email, check your spam or junk folders.
  4. After you verify your account, go back to the website (www.rutledgepta.membershiptoolkit.com), sign in with your user name and password, click on the My Account tab, fill in the Family Info and Directory Preferences. Don't skip this step! You will not be able to login to the app until this is done! 
  5. Look for the Membership Toolkit app in your app store and download it (free!). Use the login you created (in the steps above) to sign in. The app looks like this:

As parents sign up, a database of information forms. Privacy controls are important, so everyone involved determines how much information is shared. 

Parents control:

  • their own passwords
  • can update information at any time
  • choose which information will be published
